I enjoy the food and the staff at El Tapatio. The salsa and chips before a meal are delicious. I especially enjoy a very simple dish of three shrimp tacos a la carte. I add cilantro and onions and drizzle lime on them. Exceptionally good. View all feedback.
What Cynthia Westbrook doesn't like about El Tapatio Cafe Cantina:
The food is always on point and prices are great. However the last several times I've gone in they have either given us the wrong food, walked away before we finished ordering, and once had the waiter try to take the menu from me before I was done andactually hit me in the face. This is not the normal experience I have there not sure what's going on lately but sure hope itgets back to the way it was. View all feedback.
Always a favorite. Fast service, great, hot food, fair prices! Never disappointed when we go here for lunch.
Reposted because the owners think it's okay to delete my review. First one got 1000 views and I suppose they didn't like that. We came to have a nice family lunch and that is NOT what happened. My fiancé bit into to his quesadilla and pulled out alovely napkin. The wait staff was very kind during this situation. The manager however was not. He proceeded to try and blame myfiancé and say he stuck the napkin in the food. Everyone at the table witnessed him bite into the food and pull it out with histeeth. Very disappointed and disgusted with this service. Absolutely will not be returning.
The service was excellent and the food was, as always, delicious. I highly recommend the verde sauce on the enchiladas; it's a perfect combination of avocado and jalapeños, all based in a delightful tomatillo sauce!
The food is consistently delicious and the prices are reasonable. However, during my last few visits, I've encountered some issues: we've received the wrong dishes, the staff has walked away before we finished placing our orders, and one time, a waiter even tried to take the menu from me before I was finished, accidentally hitting me in the face in the process. This has not been my typical experience at this restaurant, and I’m not sure what’s changed recently. I really hope things return to the way they used to be.
I really enjoy the food and staff at El Tapatio. The salsa and chips served before the meal are fantastic. One of my favorite dishes is the three shrimp tacos a la carte. I like to add cilantro and onions, and a squeeze of lime on top. They are exceptionally good!
