What PhilYouIn likes about Village Green:
No frills breakfast restaurant with good service and good (but a bit bland) food. Sign when you enter: take a menu and sit where you want. Excellent system; I wish it would catch on. Only one hard working woman serving everyone, and she does a good job. Food is brought out by someone else. Service was quick, and our coffee cups stayed full. This was my second time at this establishment and the 1st time was better than the 2nd time. Charges for items were not disclosed until check out which were a complete surprise. The waitress said she told us the cost of the extra charges for our meal. She was not truthful. Then the waitress asked me Do you want to tip us? Instead of, Would you like to leave a tip?
