What Hermann Monahan likes about Bamboo Garden:
I love bamboo garden, probably the only Chinese place I love to go in Galax. There food is always fresh. The rice is always fresh too and I can tell if rice isn't good. I love their cream cheese wontons. My most favorite side dish. I haven't been there in a long time ever since Covid. But if I could choose any Chinese restaurant to go to, I would pick Bamboo Garden. bland, boring without taste or flavor. the servings are plentiful with much sweet, but little meat and no spice, although the dish was displayed to be spicy and small sizes of lo my or fried rice not available. sturdy with a large amount of bland, uninspiring food. View all feedback.

we ordered the delivery from the bamboo garden several times and were pleasantly surprised each time. eating is fresh and tasty and the portions are huge. Today...

"We passed by here to wait out a thunderstorm. Service was amazing but man the bbq recipe has to be checked on cause that was one of the most dry, tough and flavorless pulled pork and brisket I've ever eaten. But we loved the hush puppies the best, funny how the best thing came from a plastic package though haha. "Service was extremely lacking even though the place was dead and there were multiple waitstaff. Once the food was dropped off we never saw the waitress again. Had to go looking for her. Food was not edible. Soggy nachos. Ordered steak salad but got chicken. Salad was basically lettuce and loads of sour cream with 3 pieces of meat. I'm honestly not sure how this place is still in business. I don't know how anyone can mess up Mexican food, but they've mastered it."
