Good food and good service. My son and I both loved our double cheeseburgers and Pommes, my other son loved his southwest wrap, but my husband thought his grilled chicken was just okay. I loved how they had chips as an option for pages. The food was very full. My boys and I gave him a 5 star, and my husband said 3 stars and said the ketchup was stabbed. The food was very cheap. I definitely come back. read more.

"We stopped in here for lunch and it was very full. They had two small bistro tables left, and the lady behind the counter told us to sit anywhere. We were 4 adults, so pushed the 2 small bistros together. Not 5 minutes later a waitress came over and told us we could only have one of the tables because that is their policy and they had a party of 6 coming in with reservations. There were no other tables anywhere. There is no way 4 adults could have 4 meals and 4 drinks on these tiny tables. I asked if we were all supposed to sit at the tiny table, and she said yes. I said there is no way we will all fit and if we need to do that, then we will leave. She said, well that is your choice. Where were they going to sit the party of 6?....at the one bistro table that they wanted us to give up? I will NEVER go here again, and will tell all about the horrible service. We walked down the street and had a great lunch at the Desoto House with a HUGE table."

"It was a bitterly cold evening in mid January when my wife and I followed up on a suggestion from the folks at Fiber Wild Yarn Shop to check out Embe Galena. We did! Had excellent seafood chowder and mushroom soup with artichoke sun dried tomato with thyme!! Add a pint of hard cider, and Cabernet, to go with it, and we had a perfect light supper. Excellent service, drinks and sustenance!"

"This is our favorite place to eat when we visit Galena. We found it when it was a small hole in the wall; it was recommended by a local. The Eskargot was worth trying. The last meal I had was honey pig with goat cheese. Unbelievable. It's about showing that new things are worth the risk, especially here."
