Had it home for the weekend and had to have my favorites before I left! Happy Joe's pizza has been there since I was a child and it hasn't changed at all!! Starting from the Quad Cities, Happy Joe started his business in the 70s. While Joe is no longer with us, his tradition lives in all his glory! If you ever come to the Middle West, give him a shot! On July 15, I picked up my last pizza from Happy Joe's. Usually, about once every two weeks I would order a large, combo, thin crust pizza. The cost was $32.11. When I ordered the pizza over the phone on July 15, the price was $34.88. When I picked it up, I asked if the prices had gone up. The reply was that prices had increased beginning July 1st.
