"The El Caracol Cafe is somewhere that I have been eying for some time now. What is particularly unusual about this place is that it is in the same strip mall as another Mexican restaurant; indeed, only 2 businesses are between them ! In spite of this, neither business is out of business yet.<br/ <br/ This may be because El Caracol is more of a Central American restaurant than a Mexican one; the fare includes pupusas and other Central American favorites.<br/ <br/ The restaurant beyond the doors is almost painfully cramped. The menu is quite surprisingly large for such a small place. I don’t know how they do the rice... but it may well be the best rice I have ever had. These guys know how to cook! I highly recommend them, although the wait time is a little long."

"Located in the Mayne Island Resort it's a decent restaurant. We stayed at the resort so ate here a few times. They currently are only open 4 to 9pm so it's limited on when you can dine there. Make reservations if you can. The food was good, fries are awesome and home cut. The cheesecake was pretty darn tasty, it was a cinnamon bun but had cheesecake on the outside. Delish. This restaurant is good, service on the slower side but I know staffing is an issue so can't fault anyone for that."

"The best rotis!. I've been coming here for over 10 years now. i first found it when i was working in the restaurant beside it and my gym is also around the corner from it. rehannah is a super cool lady and does all the cooking herself. there's goat (my favorite), chicken, shrimp and veg i think, really flavourful and spicy (depending how you want it, mild, med, etc) just a small place with 3 or 4 tables. i've tried alot of rotis in the city (lower mainland) but this is head and shoulders above the rest. love it!"

"5 stars for the Quality and Price. I wish they had corrugated sheet to avoid soggy Piza base. But yea supply chain challenges could have something to do with it. Definitely will recommend this"

"Stopped in at the Lighthouse Pub while waiting for the ferry back to Vancouver Island. I had the lamb burger with fries and it was delicious!Lot's of games to keep families entertained, and great, fast service.Only critique is that the fries were a little over! Other than that, it's a great spot, and will definitely be coming again."
