Delicious Americano's, nice little patio.
Years ago this was the best service (Megan rocked), coffee and pastry on the islandNowadays you can get better espresso from the machine on the ferry.

"Sitting here at Babes in the Woods as I type this. Had dinner here last night, lunch today. If there is any one reason to move to Galiano Island, this is it. The sign outside says Good Food, Good People, Good Times. My wife and I have found all three. Thank you for making our 9th wedding anniversary that much more special! P.S. The maple walnut cheesecake is to die for! — at Babes in the Woods."

"We enjoyed the vegan cheese board and fried mushrooms food was good. Cider was EXCELLENT! We sat on picnic tables, dogs and babies were welcome and we even put a blanket on the grass to play babies. It's just a lively afternoon"

"Some of, if not the best, halibut fish and chips I've had, and being that I live in the seafood epicentre of BC, I've had my fair share of good fish and chips! Service was top notch and friendly. Very clean and has a great patio. Will definitely venture back here in the future."

"It is easy to think that this place survives from the captured ferry audience. Far from it! We locals are often overrun the island for food. From the big burgers to the very well-made fusion bowls and Sunday evening Prime Rib or all works. Tomorrow commuters get their caffeine and variety of pastries. I'm glad they're here! "It was another one of those late nights where the busyness of wedding season crept in and I forgot to eat dinner (happens a lot, I know, it’s horrible). Greta and I had made a trip down to Point Roberts to pick up some crafting materials that we had shipped to the states and I told her I was starving and had a hankering for tacos (this also happens a lot)."
