"Sitting here at Babes in the Woods as I type this. Had dinner here last night, lunch today. If there is any one reason to move to Galiano Island, this is it. The sign outside says Good Food, Good People, Good Times. My wife and I have found all three. Thank you for making our 9th wedding anniversary that much more special! P.S. The maple walnut cheesecake is to die for! — at Babes in the Woods."

"If you love big portions and good prices with small town good feels this is the place. We love it here especially the souvlaki plate.. huge portions always and never disappointed ever. Breakfast meals are equally large and delicious. The two ladies that are usually here are always friendly and nice. We love when we get Shauny (I think that's her name) She's always bubbly and the memory she has is incredible Place is small hometown vibe, clean and spacious. The washroom is a little dated but I don't come for the washrooms It's in the bsmt, small, it's clean so if you come here to complain about everything but the food make sure you get that sorted out and just come to eat, enjoy the atmosphere and your company Parking: There's lots and if not there's street parking I believe but we've never had that problem even on their busiest days"

"Outdoor or indoor seating. Sat in the sun under umbrella with beautiful view and enjoyed a flight of local cider and snacks. Decided to return or dinner as there were several vegan options on the dinner menu. Great beverages and snacks."

What hospitality, what smiles, and of course the most AMAZING Montreal smoked meat I ever tasted and being from Ottawa , Ontario we have tried some incredible Montreal smoked meat in our day, this is by far the best I have ever experienced . "I have wanted to check out this brightly-coloured fun and festive-looking little place forever! I finally went and got a chicken tamale and enchiladas. Delicious! Tamale was only $3 which is crazy-cheap and the enchilada was $9.99 and delicious. Our servers were great, the place is small but a totally fun hangout. The Horchata was so delicious, I can not wait to go back for more. Great deal for the money and I will be all the time. So glad I finally went inside. Suzie the Foodie"

"Beautiful water views while seated on their outside patio. Food was delicious. We had seafood chowder and calamari! Staff was attentive. They practiced social/physical distancing by having a table set up next to our table, where the waitress placed our drinks and food. Clever! Then once we were full we took a walk on the Maple Bay Marina. Simply gorgeous."
