"We went here for lunch and it was really good. My husband had the Cod and chips with salad and mushy peas and really enjoyed it. I had a Toasty cheese and bacon sandwich which was delicious. The waitress who served us was very attentive and helpful. Their apple tart and ice cream is gorgeous. We both enjoyed it. We have been here before and we think it’s a great place to stop for food and refreshments and is near Connemara National Park. The scenery around it is beautiful. We will be back and would recommend it to everyone .All the staff we met were tops."

"This restaurant is located in the middle of Clifden town. Staff were very friendly. Food was of a high quality with the lamb burger and fish pie a highlight of all our courses. Would recommend this restaurant."

"Paid €8 for calamari which consisted of 3 rings and a bit of salad. Bloody rip off. They came out so fast. I say they were the frozen ones from Lidl. Pizza was nice though."

"Nice seafood platter for a reasonable price and easily fed two ladies! Oysters unusually done, sizeable pieces of poached salmon. Had the crumble for dessert but overly sweet and not a true baked crumble, sadly all too common these days.Long life whipped cream was not a good addition either.Why, why, why? Is it so difficult to get fresh cream? Saw this a lot in Ireland unfortunately. Nice lady serving and an atmospheric wee place in a village set in a beautiful location."
