We had been intending to visit The Royal Villa restaurant, for quite some time. Friends had told us that it was good, so we finally made the effort on a windy autumn evening. What User doesn't like about Royal Villa:
We started with Crispy Aromatic Duck. It's hard to believe that duck can be so dry, but it was, unbelievably so. I had chicken with ginger spring onion for main. The sauce was nice but the chicken was....you've guessed it. Dry, like eating cardboard. This restaurant is not cheap, €22 for a duck starter for 2. At these prices it needs to really up its game.
