What nauj63 likes about Wild Atlantic Cafe:
The 'complex ' to which this cafe is integral to is super and I would look to stay here in the future... The cafe itself is nearly refurbished and the environment is modern, clean and inviting. The homemade celeriac cauliflower soup was delicious apart from it not being hot, This was soon rectified. The coffee etc was very good as were the carrot cake and chocolate brownies. Worst tea ever I called into the cafe for a take away on Saturday after a long day hiking. I got a tea and omg it was thee worst tea I’ve ever tasted, not sure if it was the tea they used or milk/water but I couldn’t drink it. I was already made the road home when I tried it so couldn’t return it. For the price and level of custom these guys get I would have thought a drink as stable as tea would be hard to get wrong... "We went here for lunch and it was really good. My husband had the Cod and chips with salad and mushy peas and really enjoyed it. I had a Toasty cheese and bacon sandwich which was delicious. The waitress who served us was very attentive and helpful. Their apple tart and ice cream is gorgeous. We both enjoyed it. We have been here before and we think it’s a great place to stop for food and refreshments and is near Connemara National Park. The scenery around it is beautiful. We will be back and would recommend it to everyone .All the staff we met were tops."
