"I love discovering cute coffee places with a variety-filled menu! I thought I had found such a place in Alexandria Bay! Located conveniently on an intersection corner, and with a menu with quite a few yummy-sounding flavors. After a drizzly boat tour, I wanted a decaf latte to warm me back up. Once I decided what flavor I wanted, I began to order my latte, and the young girl behind the counter interrupted me and said they don't serve decaf espresso. So I asked what decaf options there were, since it was 3pm and too late for me to have caffeine, and she said none. Apparently they don't serve decaf in the afternoons? In all my years of avoiding caffeine after noon, I've never encountered a coffee shop without decaf at all. The girl gave me such attitude too. My friend turned to me after we left and made a comment about making it out of there safely, because she looked like she wanted to kill us for daring to intrude on her day. If this was my coffee shop, I'd fire her, even if she was my daughter. This is sadly the only coffee shop in the touristy town of Alexandria Bay, and it has the potential to do so well, but it greatly disappointed me. I walked out without ordering anything."

"JRECKS has delicious subs. They are not the biggest subs around, but the flavors are on spot. We have tried several locations and they are consistent. But our favorite is the Alex Bay location. The sub of choice is the Cheeseburger Sub, but tell them to add the toppings you want. We like adding the pepper relish and julienned pickle with lettuce and tomato here. The sub can be a little messy as the bread is not toasted but it is worth every bite. Get your napkins and enjoy the flavors of this food. Grab a drink and their sides for a great meal. #jrecksubs #sub #alexbay #thousandislands"

"We had dinner with 4 friends, camping nearby. This was an excellent restaurant in all aspects, variety on the menu, quality and price and our server Kendra was highly efficient and pleasant. The lemon pie was delicious!!"
