There is a vegetarian restaurant situated behind the well-known Thanumalayan temple. The cuisine served here is South Indian and has a homely taste, albeit not exceptional. The prices are average and the interior is below par, with only wooden benches and a desk for seating. However, since the restaurant is located on the side of a wide road, parking is not an issue.
