"We found this gem about a year ago. It quickly became one of our very favorites! The food is great, good portion size, love the sour dough dinner rolls and salad with their house Italian dressing to start. The bar prawns are the best and the steak always tender and cooked to perfection. I always take my loaded baked potato home because I’m full from dinner. The service is always excellent. The inside feels like an old steakhouse and feels nostalgic. Love this place."

"Love the friendly service and the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. However I was told the food I ordered wasn't too spicy and it compared to the level of heat from the salsa. It was way spicier than what I wanted and wasn't like the salsa at all. But it tasted delicious so just a warning, the food is spicier than what was promised."

"My family loves this place and the staff. They offer a good selection of Hispanic cuisine, so everyone will fix something they are hungry for. Meals are large portions at reasonable prices. You may not be worn by the meal, but I promise you that you will enjoy it enough to come back. Where these Chapalas benefits are their servers. They are very attentive and personal. They enjoy their job and want to make you happy. And this is the most family-friendly restaurant in Boise. I don't feel bad here if my kids are less than perfect."
