"My wife surprised me for my birthday and reserved 10/9 for dinner. This was the first time dining at this establishment and we were very pleased! We started off with a bottle of sparkling Pelligrino and my wife had a Kentucky honey cocktail which she enjoyed. I asked for 2 beers on the menu but they came back twice to inform out of stock of both. The remaining beers were Heineken and Corona which are very mainstream and I do not enjoy so asked for Bullitt Bourbon on the rocks, can't go wrong with this. They brought out fresh bread with an olive spread that was delicous. For starters we ordered the charred octopus with red wine dressing, arugula, roasted peppers and capers. It was so good and charred, we wanted to reorder. Next, we ordered the steak tartare which was a first for me as I was feeling adventurous. It was incredible and would order again!! It is dry aged sirloin, a Dijon mustard and scallion oil with szechuan pepper and a tiny quail egg for richness. We also ordered a 1/2 dozen of east coast oysters and it was also incredible. Came with the typical cocktail sauce, horseradish, Worcestershire and lemon wedges. The main course was the porterhouse for 2 which we ordered medium. From experience in other steakhouses, you order medium and it comes medium rare which was the case here but no complaints. Quality of beef outstanding! We ordered the truffle fries and asparagus to accompany the steak and enjoyed tremendously! Besides the 2 selections of beer I really wanted not being stocked, it's a 5 star establishment."

"We were pleasantly surprised with the food service and ambiance. We live in the neighborhood and we wonder what took us so long to enjoy a great meal there. It's relaxed it's tasty and most of all our server a really nice young man was outstanding. It's a great place when you can't decide what you feel like eating because there's a little bit of this and a little bit of that with an Italian flair"

"I am glad I found this place, the pizza, theme, service were all excellent. I had a pizza with walnuts first time ever) it was awesome. I ordered a margarita slice, but was given a pepperoni by accident, they noticed it before I even got the slice) they told me to keep it, and they would give me the one I wanted free, they said take it home , that is excellent service right there. My son just moved to Astoria, I will be coming here every time I visit. Nonna 's is a must try... P.S. the place was extremely clean!!"

"Very mediocre Korean place. Basic banchan and their beef bulgogi doesn?t even taste like bulgogi at all. More like American BBQ. Kimchi soup also tasted like they just added water to kimchi. Only giving another star cause their house plum tea is good. Please improve your recipes!"
