Gardena is full of old school Japanese restaurants, Fukagawa being one of them. With the atmosphere chock full of regulars and wood accents, it's a very cozy place to eat. There's a wide menu, ranging from Japanese breakfast, dons, udon, soba, etc. The combination plates are the best deal though, you get to try a combination of dishes that are presented beautifully. What is the basic of Japanese tenshoku? To me, it's rice (gohang) and miso soup (siru). Rice was over cooked, and was too sticky without flavor. Miso soup was not even warm... they used to do much better? Is it just me or is it just today?Food: 3/5 View all feedback.
