"This was toward the end of our holiday, so we decided to attend a restaurant that was said to have a good reputation. How disappointed we were. In truth, it’s a lovely setting and has a charming ambience. The staff were were welcoming and pleasant. We ordered well, a bottle of Sauvignon, starting with Parmesan Egg Truffle and Salmon Tartare, which were fantastic. For our second course, we shared a truffle pasta, again very nice! Sadly, our two fillet steaks scuppered the entire experience. A Simple’s request of ‘medium rare’ could not be properly met by even the second attempt. I would also go as far as saying that the quality of meat was poor. For €35 each for the main and and overall bill of €200, I just couldn’t accept it. I asked the sever to take them away, along with the two classes of red wine I’d ordered to compliant our overpriced, over and then under cooked mains. I remarked them as ruining our evening however, didn’t receive any further compensation off the bill. I actually had to seek additional food at another registrant to satisfy our hunger. We’ll not go again, what a shame!"
