"We were trying to get into the cafe opposite as it had tables in the sun, and it wasn’t immediately obvious where the entrance to the Almshouse is (10 yards down street). The outside seating doesn’t look as appealing as it’s neighbor but once inside it’s a different story. A really nice menu with an excellent selection of cakes and sandwiches and great coffee, served by friendly staff. The Almshouse itself is really pretty inside, with a bookshop, and spiral staircase taking you to more seating. Next time we’re in Axbridge we’ll be heading straight there!"

"We’ve been to a couple of Yeo Supper Clubs recently and they’ve gone down really well with our guests. Not only has the food been top-notch and plentiful, the service is always second to none (very friendly but professional too). Can’t wait for our next visit."

"Just bought some of your delicious bread OMG it tastes as amazing as it looks and sounds! Still slightly warm, with a crunchy crust and light and soft inside. I chose the wholemeal with cumin, coriander, fennel and other yummy things I am just sitting here back at home eating a slice on its own! Well done I will be back for more soon! :"

"I am so fussy with breakfast out but I think this was the best breakfast out I’ve ever had. Staff were so lovely and friendly and despite being in a tourist trap town it wasn’t badly priced at all. All breakfasts should come with double potatoes."

"Went here for our wedding anniversary. Cannot recommend high enough! Absolutely superb food! Couldn't decide what to have so described to the server what taste I was in the mood for, including spice level. He got it spot on! Will be returning soon."
