Campus Drive-in - Gate City

Food is good most of the time. Did get ice cream once that tasted like cleaner. Service has always made me question why I go there as little as I do. There have been times the older women have been plain rude for no reason. I've never complained until now. Always ordered, paid and left with my food to go yet had to deal with grouchy old women that seemed to rather you not come at all.

This is a very cute restaurant--but the people are what make this a great restaurant. The food is very good and fresh. The service could not be better. We eat there each week at least one time, and we have to drive 25 minutes to get there. We must love it.

Called to place an order for the first time EVER and the lady was EXTREMELY rude! She kept blowing after every question I asked and since I was ordering for my family of 4 she was sooo annoyed with me! It’s her job to answer the phone and take orders, she doesn’t have to like it but she could at least pretend she wasn’t about to die just because she’s having to do her job. When I was fdone ordering she asked for my name, and hung up on me after I told her, no price, no time frame of when I was supposed to pick up the order, NOTHING! I’ve heard nothing but good things about the food but I’ve heard nothing but bad things about the service (that’s why we called a order in to go) and boy did I QUICKLY realize that all those people who said the ladies are rude and hateful were so right!!!

Evan is the best Cook!!! And my waiter Katie is so sweet every time, my favorite dinner spot!!!

Great food, great people. Got their Taco Salad today, it's absolutely delicious?
