I visited early on a Friday afternoon therefore it was very quiet. As this is a New hungry horse the surrounds are still brand New a very nice family atmosphere typical hungry horse food . good value for a dinner time meal and staff very good with service. will be back. View all feedback.

Ordered the roast of the day for myself Vedge was raw,meal was only just edible,my wife ordered fish and chips,it was not just well done,it was burnt, unable to eat it,The worst meal I have ever had Do not go to this place and waste your money,disgusting. View all feedback.

"Simply cheesecake has cult status in our house. the cakes themselves are wonderful, the variety of the aromas can only be one of a challenge, but no matter what we are putting on us, have never been disappointed. the personal itself is also incredibly friendly and helpful. if they never eat anything from here, I would highly recommend that they do."

"A very pleasant little taste of France in the North East of England. Immaculately kept, great use of space at ground floor and first floor levels of this arch. Seating arranged nicely, but not crammed in. Cheese and charcuterie boards consumed. Generous content for the price. Personally felt they padded the cheese board with too much Comte, but general quality levels were suitably high. Sausison with wild boar was a delight. Even the little details like a brilliant tang to the cornichons speaks to the quality of the place. Wine flights and specials both provided excellent value to try new and interesting things. The unique selling point is the sheer Frenchness of the place, with a vast amount of options for the wine and very knowledgeable, friendly staff, it's a winner if you like cheese and wine for sure. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"
