great hospitality,I was down from nyc visiting a friend in one of the units so I figured ill give it a try,the brisket was so tender,as well as the ribs fell right off the bone,wish the portion was bigger tho but all in all was really good,def better than nyc bbq,but I'm no lame on the grill read more.

"Great country cooking if your passing through Gatesville. We've seen the place many times, so we decided to stop in, and we were glad we did. Kids had the chicken nuggets and steak fingers, one with fresh cut fries and the other with seasoned curly fries. Both were pleased with their meals. The wife had the sampler platter with wings, tornados, and loaded fries which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had the chicken fried steak sandwich, which was quite tasty. All good portions were sizable and everything tasted great. Plenty of room in the parking lot if you have an oversized vehicle or trailer, and it's located right off hwy 36 for easy access. Very roomy inside and interesting eclectic decor with plenty of Elvis memorabilia. If you're in the area, I'd recommend stopping by for some good grub."

"Food is pretty decent but they add 30 percent to a 10 dollar order for paying with a credit card. What kind of small town business extorts their customers like that and thinks it's acceptable? I would expect that in Austin but not in Gatesville."

"We had the STUDEBAKERS pizza. Wow, delicious. It was hot, fresh, the sauce was great, not too tangy and not too wet. There is an arcade area. Eight choices of Stubborn sofa on tap. Sixteen beers on tap. Service was a reasonable wait. This place is a local favorite for lots of reasons!"

"Wife and I were out and about and found this perfect little gem in Gatesville, TX! The Knife and Cork are right off of the main square downtown, its got that old timey feel, with a up to date and modern interior design. The staff was welcoming and very pleasant. They took care of us promptly and answered all of our questions about both the restaurant and menu. We had a flat bread California pizza appetizer, it was delicious! I ordered the Just Trust Me... great sandwich with lots of meat and an interesting twist of a slice of apple in the sandwich...real tasty just trust me ! The wife ordered a stuffed avocado with chicken salad and that was the bomb, will attempt to try and make that for her at home it was so good! Do not pass this place by it would be a mistake, I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. @Guy Fieri dude i can see this place in DDD!"
