Loved the sandwiches here, had tempeh BLT and Tofu fumé,super! Also had their blueberry muffins, macrons, cupcake, beautiful texture, subtle sweetness. For beverage, I had matcha latte, there were a few blobs of matcha power which can be easily fixed with a matcha whisk. Other than that, the taste was pretty good. Also, they accept AMEX. So excited to have a full vegan bakery in Hull. You wouldn’t know it’s vegan unless you ask or see their website. All the baked goods I’ve tried have been moist and flavorful without the extra sugar flavor that some vegan bakeries use to over compensate for the lack of butter. View all feedback.
Detectable and decadent treats to go sandwiches, cookies, squares, muffins, scones, quiche, pizza bags, mousse, cakes, macarones all vegan! Also some summer drinks, including lavender limonade. During my first visit I took a huge chocolate chip cookie and a s’mores blondie square srumptious home. Next time I bought 6 Scones day old and two muffins for half price, plus a house made Twix bar yum, a pistachios macaron mmm, melts in the mouth and the Tiramisu absolutely wonderful! During later visits I took a pizza bag well away, all the other macaron flavors that mousse not as light as expected, near cake texture, a bbq jackfruit sandwich and a BLT tempeh sandwich. They only offered gluten-free products, but now are just some articles GF. I'm not a fan of GF bakery, so I'm fine with it. They also sell fresh bouquets $25 and some food items. I wish I could have sampled a taste of everything here. It all looked sooo good(see photo evidence). Also had a pistachio latte which was really delicious too!
Sadly my husband and I have always found vegan dessert options to be either overly sweet or just not great. Not the case here. Pastel Coco is just fantastic. I can’t wait to try everything. We found the desserts to be nicely balanced. At least that’s our opinion. The staff there is super amazing and accommodating. Also, I once contacted them by email and received a response almost immediately. Plus they continued to communicate with me making sure all of my questions were answered. They are just fantastic!!!! If I had one negative feedback, it would be that I wish they had a better website with menu pricing etc. I also wish they would keep it up to date.
Wide variety of delicious treats and products. I especially enjoyed the scones and coffee.
