We've had food here a number of times and it's always been excellent. Whenever we pop in, we've been met with friendly, attentive service and delicious, home cooked style food. The portions are generous and you can tell it's all freshly made. We've had Sunday roasts here before a few times, definitely the best within miles for taste, freshness and value for money. Shocking wait for lunch. Was told half hour ended up waiting for 55 minutes. Not a 3 course meal but fish and chips and bangers and mash. Told it was because “food has to be properly cooked through”. Seriously??? read more.
