Recently dinned at Busters, after hearing nothing but good things and it did not disappoint! Great location with friendly welcoming staff; I think Ry was the name of the waiter who served us. Great burgers!! View all feedback.
Buster makes the best burgers and theestest the best ribs in Geelong. There is always something great and new on the Special Board, and you can not pass a cold morning at the soup of the day.
From the moment I walked into busters, I felt like a valued customer. The food is delicious and the staff are amazing. A very pleasant experience. Try the Busters Burger followed by the Waffles for dessert. You wont be disappointed. I will definitely be returning...More
Needed somewhere new that catered for all ages so we gave busters a go .. was very happy little slow on meals arriving but they were great no complaints try the ribs they rocked will def be back
What a venue! My girlfriend and I dined in at Busters on a lovely Friday night recently. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival by the very friendly staff and seated in the stunning outdoor alfresco area. Super clean and simple fit out, creating a very comfortable, relaxed and vibrant atmosphere. The food was delicious and had a wide variety to choose from we opted for the seafood marinara from the daily specials board after starting with a variety of share plates as recommended by our waiter. The wines were amazing (and affordable) and we finished the evening with a tasty cocktail. The staff were bubbly, attentive and knowledgeable and we were even graced with the presence of Buster himself! What a fantastic host, we will be back!!
We went to Busters on a Saturday afternoon. As we had the dog with us we stayed in the alfresco area. The good thing about Busters is that they serve food, wine, beer and coffee between 2.30 pm and 6 pm when most of the restaurants in Geelong are closed. The restaurant was not very busy and the waitress ran the place like a one man band. She was gorgeous, friendly, but at times rushed of her feet. We waited quite a while for a glass for our ginger beer, which by the way was awesome. The two glasses of wine were on both occasions filled to well under their pourline, probably instructions by the boss to gain an extra glass out of the bottle.Husband ordered the special: spare ribs with apple coleslaw and chips, the ribs were fine, the coleslaw made on the premises but contained hard bits which - had we been mischievous - could have paid for the next dentist bill. We worked our way cautiously through the slaw, which by the way arrived without dressing.I had a Combuster Burger (nice play on words Buster) with chips. The Burger was meant to be spicy, and yes it had oomph. The Burger patty was boiled, as I am used to grilled patties this kind of meat did not do the trick. The dog liked it, so. Also if you call your restaurant bar and grill then I kind of expect a grilled patty not a boiled one. That aside, we shared a chocolate type of desert and hubbie had a coffee to finish the meal off. The bill came to $104, for 2 mains, 2 glasses of wine, 1 beer, 1 cake and 1 coffee. It turned out that the special, ie ribs, were $30 although the specials board did not list the price for the ribs, but we have a mouth and we could/should have asked. All in all the ginger beer was wicked, the service beautiful, but as far as the rest was concerned we can either take it or leave it. Probably leave it. And for what it was, the meal was expensive.
