What Kaleb Olson likes about Ripples by the Bay:
Not too far from Geelong's main foreshore but far enough to be nicely isolated on Rippleside beach overlooking the bay. Comfortable cafe/restaurant with good food and friendly service. We attended a Saturday night which was very quiet but can get quite busy during the day. Some nice outdoor seating and the restaurant abuts Rippleside park allowing plenty of room for kids to wear themselves out. View all feedback. What Ignacio Jones doesn't like about Ripples by the Bay:
We live locally and every 6 months or so we go to Ripples with the hope that they have improved. Sadly always disappointed. Great location ,good views ..... thats about it. The breakfast menu was hard to find anything appealing ....some crazy combinations that were...not desirable. In the end just settled for bacon eggs and rueing that we didn't go to nearby Pakington St. Service was a variation of either being abrup... View all feedback.

read moreRipples restaurant offers a great location with stunning views of the water and park, making it an ideal spot to sit with a coffee or drink on a sunny day. However, the reviews for the food and service are mixed, with some customers disappointed by the breakfast menu and slow service, while others praise the vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. The overall consensus seems to be that the restaurant has potential with a little more attention to detail. The atmosphere on Mother's Day was especially wonderful, and the unique location by the water and adjacent park adds to the appeal for families. Despite some issues, the restaurant is recommended for its beautiful space, good coffee, and unique hot chocolate offering.
