"Unfortunately our visit was our first and last! the only positive thing that can be mentioned here is the very appealing ambiente of the local. that is also really the only thing that deserves 5 stars here.As many other guests we also come to the conclusion: “more than being”. the prices are not in any reasonable relation to quality and taste of food.You are advertised with regionality of food, but when you ask, it turns out that not only the buffalo meat has traveled a longer journey to Easterwaal. Unfortunately, it also tastes!We have not found the expected taste experience here. especially the main courts were a single disappointment! "For a one night stay in Geisenfeld, we thought we'd have a traditional Beyerish dinner. The top choice was closed for business. So we headed over to Lafonte instead. Tonight's family dinner was therefore quite unexpected a magnificent Italian experience in terms of both service and food. Top quality. The Dorada dish I had was outstanding, and as far as the rest of my family is concerned, their dishes were well prepared and tasty as well. There was no particular kids menu, but they had no problem creating a small Spaghetti Carbonara and Pepperoni pizza. When our son, age 7, saw that pepperoni was not the small round slices he knows as pepperoni, the waitress and kitchen had no problem changing his topping within minutes and at no extra charge. The Filet a la Enzo and a lamb grill dish we had were equally well prepared, and we all left very pleased. All staff were kind and courteous. My leaving remarks was in my unhelpful and very limited Italian: Alora, tuto manjare, siempre bellissimo! Gracie mille. I hope everyone will have the same dining experience. If they do, this place definitely deserves a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide."

"Apart from the highway sanifair toilets optics, which unfortunately does not fit the bar area at all, we would be absolutely surprised! we chose all bark fillet with various supplements. we were all thrilled - even perfect, no standard supplements. as dessert I chose a variation ( spans cotta, chocolate cake, cream brulee). which was good but not very good. the wine card is very clear, but ok. the service was also ok, but with duration of the evening something too lax."
