We were looking for a summer outdoor seating experience for lunch after walking through the market and happened upon the roof of this place, though they have tables out front on the sidewalk too. The roof overlooks the Yppenmarkt. All four of us had sandwiches that were surprisingly awesome (open-faced with choice of bread) and yummy cold drinks. Perfect for a warm afternoon. We walked around Brunnermarket and sat down for a rest and enjoyed sitting in this beautiful cafe. The coffee was great and they had some great cold drinks

We had a delicious meal here! The menu is not huge but the dishes were unusual and really tasty. The matjes mit brot starter (Soused Herring) was especially fab...
