"A Mixed Bag of Experiences at City of Dreams Manila I recently had the opportunity to visit the City of Dreams Manila, a luxury integrated resort and casino complex in the heart of the Philippines. While my experience had its fair share of highs and lows, I believe it is essential to highlight both aspects for a fair review. Upon arrival, the grandeur of the property and its modern architectural design left a lasting impression. The variety of amenities available, including high-end retail shops, dining options, and entertainment facilities, catered to a wide audience. However, not all experiences were pleasant. While enjoying a coffee at Starbucks, I was bitten by a mosquito—an unwelcome and surprising encounter at a high-end venue. The management should take immediate measures to ensure the premises are free from such annoyances as they can ruin an otherwise enjoyable experience. Another downside was the pervasive smell of smoke when passing by the casino area. Though it is not uncommon for casinos to permit smoking, the ventilation system should be more effective in keeping the odor confined to the designated smoking areas. This would significantly improve the experience for non-smokers and families visiting the resort. On a positive note, DreamPlay, an interactive play space for children and families, provided an enjoyable and engaging experience. This unique attraction, in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation, offered a wide range of activities for children of all ages. The staff were friendly, and the facility was well-maintained, making it a great destination for family entertainment. In conclusion, City of Dreams Manila is a destination with a lot to offer, from shopping and dining to gaming and entertainment. While the mosquito incident at Starbucks and the lingering smoke smell near the casino were unfortunate, they do not entirely overshadow the enjoyable experiences at the resort. I would recommend City of Dreams Manila to visitors, but it is essential for the management to address these issues to provide a more seamless and pleasant experience for all guests."
