I was in Ponderosa for a long time and it was as big as I remembered!!! Love the buffet! I wish I had 2 stomachs!!! LOL

So many choices and the buffet is simply brilliant!!! I love this place as I was a child!!!

"Great view of the lake. Comfortable place high vaulted ceilings. Your pizza crust is made from fried dough, with a Medley of high quality ingredients. It is absolutely to die. I'd like to pay $15 for this pizza. I'm glad I didn't have to live any closer or buy bigger clothes."

"Friendly staff and great service. Our reservation was 8:30; we arrived early and they accommodated us seated us 15 minutes earlier. The white sangria looked delicious and it was. Buffalo cauliflower was tasty, the beet salad was ordinary but fresh.It could use a little bit more dressing. The short rib of the gnocchi was tender. The gnocchi was doughy and different; I’mnot sure if I like it or not. Penne with meatball was good. Midnight mocha chess cake was delicious but doesn’t taste likecheese cake to me, more like a mocha cake."

"Staff was extremely professional and nice and offered amazing customer service. My fathers veal was excellent. My step mothers chicken was not seasoned and extremely dry and over cooked. The red sauce seamed to be watery and canned. The shrimp scampi that I ordered tasted as if the sauce was the pasta water, it had no flavor. There was lightly sautéed spinach and pretty much raw chunks of tomatoes. They were not cut uniformly and seemed to be externally rough chop, most likely left overs of that salad and thrown in. The shrimp was cooked effectively. I do not like to waste food so I was the waitress if I could have sauce to put on the dish. She recommended Alfredo. This made the dish taste a lot better. There was browning on many of my pieces of the salad. I think I’m general that is messed up to serve brown lettuce. The bread was warm, that was a nice touch. We ordered to go deserts and the selection for deserts is great, hopefully they will taste good.Overall I would not choose to eat at this restaurant again. My dad made this reservation for a special occasion and I wish we choose somewhere else."

"The steak was dry and tough to chew not only that but, steak fajitas are supposed to come with guacamole sour cream lettuce and tomato I got a salad covered in Italian dressing and baked beans instead of refried beans like ewwwww and my tortillas were burnt do not recommend"

"Just one word to describe the chicken: incredible. I'm from NYC, my mother was a cook, and I'm freezing my own chicken, but I have to say... This is a OUTSTANDING find. Perhaps the best chicken sandwich in the country, by far the best in NY. The pommes were phenomenal, the sauces were brilliant, and the chicken... you know. The waffle is pretty good for a GF waffle, but the chicken is the real shiny star. Glass fragile crispy. Kudos, FLX."
