"In the past, I have already eaten in this very good restaurant and this time I was once again very satisfied. I ate a very good red beet carpaccio with caramelized goat cheese as starter, followed by a very good veal steak with Asparagus and...risotto The cooking of the veal (requested as medium) was perfect. The service was good and very friendly (only issue : in German only), the choice of local wines is interesting. We paid around € for drinks, starters, main dishes and half a litter of local red wine. I strongly recommend this place."

"Or yestio and muito bom. Or pessoal, by norm and sympathetic and careful. Close it up. Têm sempre um prato type prato do dia o que varia os habituais menus repetitivos. É aconselhável ligar a reserva sob o risco de fazer uma viagem para nada. Acho que todos os Restaurants deveriam ter sempre algumas tables para não reservas."

Many tables, friendly staff, basics of drinks and snacks, quality is right and is held up here. 1 star deduction since you can no longer sit outside after a certain time (can the location be nothing for it, seems to be a problem generally in Gengenbach), and the beer selection is not necessarily great."

"We have eaten here a few times on our first trip to gengenbach and also on the last trip. once we ate in the beer garden. no one was there and we waited and waited and finally a man came out. I couldn't say if he was rude or just tried to be funny. it was a difficult experience to accept our order. next time we ate in. there are two inside parts - the bar and the restaurant. the bar is clearly the main venue. when we sat down, two women played video games. no one came back. we went, but we saw nowhere else in the city where we wanted to eat this evening, so we went back. the two women were still there, they showed us that we had to ring what we did, and the waitress came. that was in order. the first time I had blown and the woman had a salami cheese sandwich. the second time I had half a chicken and pommes. they kicked the chicken and it had an excellent crispy skin. I also had pommes - too many to eat. the woman had bratwurst and potato salad. the food was good and the price was excellent. I don't know if smoking is allowed in the restaurant, but it was clear in the bar and the smoke traveled to the restaurant, so if they don't like the smoke smell, the inside restaurant is not the right place for them."
