"Followed by all great reviews, decided to go there for dinner with my boyfriend. It was as good as we have expected. Really tasty food, perfectly cooked pasta dishes and a tuna-type fish. Good selection of wine and really polite service. I would suggest to think about English menu. That would be definitely easier for travelers and a waitress that was kindly translating everything for us!"

"We traveled to Genoa and Nice last month and on the second night in Genoa decided to try PEsciolino, which was just outside of the hotel we stayed in. I remembered reading about this place and thought that we should give it a try. Well, the food was so good that we came back the next night. My husband got the lobster with the seafood pasta and said that was the best seafood pasta he had in a long time. and to our surprised the bill was under 50E. that included 2 main dishes, 2 glasses of wine, a bottle of water and a tip. If we ever go back to Genoa, that will be our first choice for a dinner."

"We always look forward to learning what a talented chef brings to the table. This restaurant has many things going for it. It is a small, lean and elegant with some very fine jazz music playing in the background. The staff is cordial, the menu selections intriguing and the wine list designed by and for connoisseurs. Despite the friendly and welcoming staff they made one serious mistake that needs to be corrected. If you are going to put our wine and water bottles a good three meters from our table, then it is your responsibility to fill those glasses promptly and not just when you get around to it. I am perfectly capable of pouring myself if the staff is too busy. Don 't make me start to get up to notice the glasses have been empty. One of three waiters should be able to accomplish this, especially when the restaurant is far from full. Our meal was enjoyable, the staff and surroundings agreeable, and the aforementioned problem should not happen. On the business lunch, our starters and main courses were superb. The desserts were good, but academic; just because you can do some combinations doesn 't mean you should. We look forward to returning and expect the problem will disappear."
