The hotel is located in the city centre, easily past, but worth a stop for lunch. They serve all Belgian lunches, from classic 'Broodjes' to quiche and croques. Prices are reasonable to rethink the location and size of the portions. The staff is effective and helpful. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Krokantino:
The staff appeared unwelcoming, possibly due to a language barrier. We were directed to the 2nd floor as there were no available tables for 4 on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor was empty, but tables were dirty from previous customers. Service was slow but the food was excellent. I would return for the food, managing my service expectations. View all feedback.

Find a surprise! very cheap prices, menu with great variety, very fresh and delicious food, generous portions, friendly service! we had the Pasta Bolognaise, tomato soup, chicken curry and pineapple sandwich, very satisfying brunch.
Ideal lunch place to serve real people with passion, the sandwich manufacturer is simply fantastic with its skills, accompanied by fresh tap beer it is a perfect offer! place has more place up, what will be forgotten sometimes it seems
The service was very slow, as mentioned on the menu. However, the food was excellent! If the service was quicker, I would give it 5 stars.
Ah! Hungry kids (again)! Krokantino to the rescue! Our kids have become Belgian Waffle connoisseurs and they were wowed by the array of pancakes (really more pancake-crepe hybrids) and they were delicious. Three of us had their croquets which were all fabulous also. The milk shakes reminded all of us of the American chain Friendly 's but rest assured they were fresh and wonderful. Great seating and great views of downtown Ghent landmarks while we dined. Try the authentic 'French apple cider ' if you are old enough.
