Pizzeria Da Totto - Gent

One of our favorite pizzas in Ghent! The service could be more on the ball.

I don't write reviews because most restaurants don't stand enough for me to write the time. For this restaurant I had to! Her pizzas were top notch, and definitely one of the best I ever had. Her wine was also really good and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. If you're in Gent, I recommend you stop here. The owner is super friendly and also caring for us if we did not know French or Italian. Very impressed!

Nice place and good pizza. We order the capricciosa and the 4 fromaggi for two to share. They were both really tasty. The waiters were kind and attended us quickly. Important if you're paying by card and you have a VISA maybe you're not able to pay, we had to pay with a MasterCard or cash.

First of all, absolutely nothing bad to say about the food. Our pizza Toto and eggplant pasta were super tasty and exceeded expectations. The service, however, was a different story. The reluctant waiter didn’t give us so much as a grunt, and forgot to bring our starter. When we reminded him of our order, he proceeded to serve us the wrong one. Whilst settling the bill at the counter, the boss suddenly let us know that our wine was more expensive than noted on the menu. Perhaps all of this was due to it being a busy night, but certainly all of this could have been avoided..
