We rate the food here a 3 but the view a full 5! We made reservations and were seated at a great table on the patio overlooking the water just as the sun

Excellent food and service. The clams are done to perfection and a good portion. All six in our party were happy with their meals.

"I have never in my life seen food so poorly prepared, being in the restaurant business myself I would have fired the entire kitchen staff. We waited over minutes as did the rest of the customers. Clearly the kitchen staff had no clue on...timing, can not multi task absolutely no business cooking in the first place. Eggs were raw, bacon was dust, sausage was not eatable, pancakes had batter running out. I did however feel sorry for the waitstaff as they seemed embarrassed and strangely used to sloppy mess on the plate. The table of behind us got their food, looked at it, mumbled then got up left. Clearly new management and training are badly needed."

"OMG! My family group of 8 had the most delicious supper there on August 29, 2014. The best seafood chowder in Montague! Awesome mussels! The haddock was so tender and lightly breaded...yummy! Customer service was impeccable! Warm, friendly and fun staff members and owner! This is a gem of a place to eat. A definite must eat! Thank you so much for such a fabulous meal and evening! It was a great welcome to Montague with a spectacular view of the water! Will definitely return! Cheers!"
