"A really incredible hidden gem in the industrial/commercial area of the city. The food is a unique treat in a city that otherwise doesn't have many options for Indonesian/Malay food. Top quality dishes are served with passion by very pleasant owners, all at an affordable price.The only warning I would give to some people is that the seating area is very small, so it might not be a good idea to plan on dining in with a large group of people or if you were expecting a place with a fancy atmosphere as it's extremely casual. Aside from that, I would highly recommend it and would consider it one of the best food establishments in the city."

"Incredible spot for lunch. It's a small restaurant with only 26 seats, but they have managed to maintain excellent quality due to this.I recommend literally anything on the menu, as you will not go wrong.Prices do reflect the quality however, but you will not be disappointed."

"Great retro diner! Food was delicious and service was friendly and quick. I ordered the Belgian waffles with banana and was impressed! Pancakes are massive and delicious. Diner closes at 3pm on Sunday and stop serving breakfast if you come in after 2pm."

"Simply the best Indian restaurant in the GTA. Ancila provides service like no other place, you feel right at home here. The food is all fresh and catered to your likes. Every dish I've had here has blown away all other Indian restaurants. Paneer Tikka Masala, Daal Makhani, Mutton Vindaloo all fantastic."

"I just left the restaurant and I had a great experience! that was my first time and that was amazing. as a vegan it's hard to find food that I can eat or food that I want to eat. that was delicious. the portions are large. the ambiente is great and the personal is so friendly and polite. being there, I felt so warm and happy. I can't recommend this place enough. I will definitely be back! many thanks for their great service and eating."

"This wonderful little ice salon is the perfect summer look. gelato, ice cream, milkshakes, and many other Yam-Yum available. There are not many sitting places at the bottom, but on a warm summer night you can easily pack ice cream and run around."
