"I visited on a spectacular day the weekend after Thanksgiving with my senior parents who have limited mobility. We enjoyed a perfect day visiting the new museum, taking both the Gullah and the house tour as well as having a fantastic late lunch at the tea room. I highly recommend spending a day at this stunning property and learning from the well informed staff and owners. My parents were able to manage well enough on the grounds using a rolling walker and canes. The food in tea room was top notch, reasonably priced with pleasant service. Enjoy a day stepping back in time and learning about the history of the plantation and people who left their mark on this land."

"Absolutely amazing!!!! Love this place go at least once a week, I have never got anything I didn't like, husband and I got the chicken fajitas for 2 the last time I was there, and there was so much food I ate for 2 days after!!! Nicely priced as well"

"Thank you fellow reviewers! We are staying 5 minutes away and decided on take out. So glad we did. We ordered chicken bbq pizza, veggie pizza and a southwest panini. It was my husbands birthday, so we added key lime pie for him. We did a rum cake and red velvet cake as well. All good sized slices! Our pizza was crispy with a delicious thin crust. Topping were all fresh. The sandwich came with kettle chips and a pickle. We were stuffed for sure! Did I mention there was only 3 of us? We will definitely return."

"Just finished up a good lunch in Pawley’s Island. The oyster poboy was good but I’ve had better. Everything was good but the tartar sauce was sweet (need to use Dukes mayo). Oysters were great. The fried green tomato side was thick crust and I prefer tender flaky crust. But, they were good. The side caesar salad I got had tomatoes and cucumbers with dressing on the side. Not what I would call a caesar salad."
