"I love the place at my first visit about 1 1.5 years ago. But this time I was very disappointed. We had 3 different main courses and all were in the same juice (with the same sauce). A meal was drowned in the sauce, they tasted nothing else. We had ordered a bottle of rose wine. He came in room temperature. When we complained, came as an explanation, they're sorry, but they didn't expect to sell so much bottles of wine for an evening (it was a Saturday night), they only have space for 2 bottles in the refrigerator. Totally unacceptable. When we asked for ice cubes for the cooler, we have a few, but somehow they seem to save them. The last was the toilet of the ladies, the seat was not clean, you don't want to sit there as a woman. All in all, the service was very friendly and competent and the food would have been good if not everywhere this sauce would have been distributed generously. But for the higher price level, the visit was actually a disappointment compared to the first, too bad the shop is great and the service is good and the owner can cook."

"I have eaten here many times over the past or so years. I am form the UK but work for a company that has a factory near Gera so stay in the city fairly often. This restaurant is owned by a friend of one...of my work colleagues so I have eaten here for dinners with colleagues and dinners with business customers often. The menu is always fantastic!! Not a big menu and it varies over the year, but all of it always sound amazing and tastes even better! Most of the food is locally sourced and always fresh and so tasty. The exception is the Argentinian steak that is always on the menu and so so tasty and always cooked to perfection! The decor is lovely and if you go here in the summer sitting outside beside the river is great. I highly recommend eating here if you are staying in Gera!"
