"What a delightful Man who served us. I believe he was the owner, said 'his wife made the meat patties. ' Which my husband loved. Also gave us an extra fish end, joking about coming from a large family someone is always left still hungry. He appeared to know the town as others entered and he chatted with them about there day. Fish and chips were so tasty, awesome hot dog as well."

"Amazing place to have lunch under the Sakura trees! Food was so fresh and delicious (see pictures). Staffs works there were so friendly and welcoming too. Must go! 5 stars!!"

"I'm a local and I guess I'm a little bias. But I have got to say that the staff are always friendly, and there are always plenty on duty as well to keep up the service and clear tables. I have never had a bad coffee from there and....................... The Scrambled Eggs are just amazing. So good that I never have scrambled eggs anywhere on my travels now because I know, from experience I will be disappointed. Mes Amis is an asset to both Orari and South Canterbury. Thanks for being there"
