"Das Oskar ist in der Bayreuther Fußgängerzone über Jahre hinweg ein sehr beliebter Anziehungspunkt von Touristen, aber auch Einheimischen. Als Bayreuther waren wir schon sehr oft dort zu Gast und mal mehr und mal weniger mit dem Service und den Gerichten zufrieden. Meistens geht man aber mit einem guten Gewissen nach Hause und kommt gerne wieder. Das Oskar bietet neben Salaten und Brotzeiten sehr viele typisch fränkische warme Speisen an. Beispiele wären hierfür Schäufele, Sauerbraten und das leckere Bauerngröstl. Mittlerweile gibt es auch eine größere vegetarische Auswahl. Es gibt außerdem spezielle Saisonkarten und immer mal wieder neue Gerichte auf der Speisekarte. Das Oskar befindet sich im historischen Gebäude des ehemaligen Rathauses der Stadt Bayreuth und besitzt einen sehr großen, schön eingerichteten Innenbereich mit vielen Nebenzimmern. Im Sommer gibt es auch im Freien viele Plätze, von welchen aus man das Treiben auf dem Marktplatz gut beobachten kann. Wer Bayreuth besucht, sollte sich dieses Restaurant auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen."

"This is by far the best pizza in town. While the seating inside is limited, in summertime you can sit outside and enjoy your pizza. This place is buzzing with people who pick up one pizza after the other. Service is very friendly and effective. Try it out. You won't be disappointed!"

"If you like your cafes to look like Barbie's dream house, this is the place. Apart from being mostly pink and empty, the Schnittchen were tiny and very average tasting. Don't waste your time here, there are far better places in Bayreuth to get a...coffee and a snack!"
