"I’ve travelled to over 65+ countries and this is easily one of, if not THE best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Unbelievable value for money you won’t get this quality anywhere else in the world for only €5!I am extremely particular with food quality and this hit every mark perfect bread (they toast it , meat, cheese (they even melt the cheese! toppings. All had incredible flavour. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to help out a tourist like myself. They even happily shared some new unique cuts of meat and some croissants for us to try! 10/10 an incredibly wholesome and wonderful flavour experience all around. Absolute must try! EDIT from prior rating I was really heartbroken when I first arrived to Como and the shop was closed when it should have been open. However I found out this was due to an emergency shut down (hope everything was ok! . Fortunately I was able to come back the next day (twice! for 3 sandwiches to try the different varieties. 10/10 experience. Must try!"

"A more modern ambience, the experience at the Kitchen is a journey through uncommon dishes and wine. We learned from talking with the wait staff that the chef has been there 6 years and earned the Michelin star in 2020. The staff work together flawlessly to bring a high level of attention to each guest while you dine. My wife and elected for the “Experience” tasting menu which had five courses and included their signature ravioli dish. To be frank, this would have been the 3rd time in one week where ravioli was part of my dining. However, the firmness of the noodle, the combination of tart, savory, salty, acidic, and sweet made for the most impressive bite of the night. Even the wine pairing brought out some of the finer qualities of the specialty dish. I think the foie gras left a little to be desired with the meat main course (an added richness to an already rich dish and rich sauce), the overall tasting menu was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the Como and Cernobbio area."
