"Good food, prices and friendly staff. Also good options for vegetarians. The kids had popcorn chichen and curly fries (sorry they started by the time I took he photo) while the adults had calamari, Sobo Noldles, vegetarians tacos and a portion of curly fries. All food tasted great and it was more than we could eat between the 4 of us. They also have beer and ginger on tap to accompany the food. Enjoy!"

"Authentic, Delicious Outstanding Service! Ban Thai would be the best Thai food I have ever tasted, love the spice options, I love spicy food my wife doesn’t. Food was fast and we were treated like we were important which is hard to find!...Servers also went above and beyond to make sure my 20 month old was happy and comfortable throughout the entire time. Thank you Ban Thai staff! We will be back many more times!"

"I don't rate the food at Central Lane. In terms of pubs it's quite average - burgers, schnitzels, steaks. The restaurant/bar area has about five main screens and a few smaller ones so it's more for watching your favourite Fox sports with dinner than going for a meal. The side salads I've had on two previous occasions have been a bit sad looking and the chicken wings were greasy. My boyfriend thought his burger was okay but nothing special. In saying that, they've held some nice larger end-of-year functions with good food so I'm not sure what the difference is.The live music is also pretty cool. I like the atmosphere of the place.The food is order at the cash register and take a buzzer. Pick up your food and cutlery and find a table. There's a mix of dining tables, bar tables with stool or booths with small tv screens."

"The food is excellent and the portions generous. You should definitely check out the Brisket or any of their slow cooked or BBQ sauce items (ribs, etc). The let down was slow service that wasn’t very good. The orders had mistakes in them and had to be placed repeatedly while staff seemed not to be that busy because they spent a lot of time chatting at the bar. The meal I had was missing Broccoli and had substituted Beans which I don’t like and no one asked me or told me until after waiting a really long time for the food. We ordered water for the table repeatedly and after 3 times and 2 staff it eventually came. I think the restaurant is very worth while but the combination of slow and inaccurate service on relatively uncomfortable bench seating meant we didn’t stay for what looked like an amazing desert menu."

"Pricing review may not accurately reflect the meal cost, we spent a fair bit on drinks as well. Absolutely mouth watering. Had the stuffed chicken breast on a co-workers recommendation, and honestly would be happy eating that for the rest of my days. Absolutely gorgeous. Staff were super friendly as well. Overall one of the best food experiences I've had on a work trip."

"So after a 6 week swing of death I decided to treat myself to brekky at one of the newest and freshest places in town... cue Lightbox. I was told that the Fat French toast with poppy seed vanilla ice-cream, caramel, pecan and bacon was the ducks nuts. Never even thought of these crazy flavours together but if I was gonna experiment with these tastes I had to do it on my terms. I wanted fried banana as well. You can imagine my surprise when I was told there was no banana in the place and that I couldn't experiment on my terms. Little did I realise that a young tattooed gentleman who worked behind the bar overheard this dilemma and lo and behold he had one of his own #banana and would selflessly give it up for me and my comrade Brad. #boom taste sensation..! I couldn't believe it worked but it did. I'm not sure if it was the flavours or the courageous and selfless act of giving up the one banana he had so that my life would be better. Maybe it was the combination of both? Either way, I fly out in 3 days but will definitely be back to try other food on the menu. #bananagamestrong #selfless #frenchtoastonpoint #definitelytipping"

"We had the best fish n chips here last Thursday night. We had some friends with us as well we got 2 battered fish 1 crumbed huge amount of chips some potato scallops. The serving was huge and all very nicely cooked best i have had for a while. Thankyou we will be back when we come back this way to visit."
