"My wife and I were in Germany for the first time, and a good friend of mine took us here for dinner. We met the owner and he is a great guy. Very friendly! I ordered their fish and chips and I can safely say it was the best I ever had. Highly recommend, especially during the World Cup!"

"Possibly the best roast beef I've ever eaten. Came with a generous portion of tasty mushrooms, some potatoes (not memorable, but nothing wrong with them) and a good salad. Simple but perfect. Same goes for the ice cream with raspberry sauce- I think the sauce was made in house from fresh raspberries- there were a lot of chunks of fruit in it. And some sort of alcohol. I'm an (sometimes too) adventurous eater, but this meal was a reminder that sticking to the classics can be rewarding. The restaurant is cozy and pretty, and the staff was very patient about my lack of German, and had an English menu."
