What Dylan Allen likes about Ad Lib- Merchant City:
Loved their Coffee, one of the best if Glasgow. If you're looking for a place to chill ans study, the floor upstairs will do the job. They even have installed PCs if you need to use them. One small complaint, it's about time to change some of the outdoor tables or at least fix them, they're very wobbly and can get coffee spill on your white t-shirt, sad story haha. Otherwise icafe is one of the best in Glasgow. read more.

Been here many a time nice music and decor, had the butter milk chicken basket unfortunately there was no seasoning on the chicken so was very bland, ditto my partner's southern fried chicken burger and our sons chicken tenders. Previously food has been very good but big letdown this time.warm beer is also not the best. Can do a lot better guys sort it out. read more.

"Amazing and varied homemade soups, scones and cakes, all on offer on a daily basis. Today I had Moroccan chicken soup with a treacle scone....strange mixture, I know, however, treacle scones are such a rarity these days and it was delicious. The cafe is now table service and staff are so friendly and engage with you when , first, they bring a bottle of water and glasses to your table. Love the sharing of tables, especially encouraged when it's busy.....which is most days over lunch period. When paying, consider a donation to allow a homeless person some nourishing food. Once visited, defy you not to revisit, it's so worth it."
