We have now been to the Apex Hotel 3 times. Each time we have had the Tapas taster and Prosecco deal and it has not let us down. It is great value. It is not the most exciting place in the world but if you've got your own company it's spot on. read more.

Booked afternoon tea through open table, came at the hotel only to say that they stop serving afternoon tea there months ago. This is not the first instance that this error was made. The staff was nice and friendly, but bad show of open table unlikely to make this service again as its unclear if other mistakes are made. read more.

"Amazing and varied homemade soups, scones and cakes, all on offer on a daily basis. Today I had Moroccan chicken soup with a treacle scone....strange mixture, I know, however, treacle scones are such a rarity these days and it was delicious. The cafe is now table service and staff are so friendly and engage with you when , first, they bring a bottle of water and glasses to your table. Love the sharing of tables, especially encouraged when it's busy.....which is most days over lunch period. When paying, consider a donation to allow a homeless person some nourishing food. Once visited, defy you not to revisit, it's so worth it."

"What a sound! absolutely gorgeous little jewel of a caffe not far from the city center of glasgow. my friends and I had speck pancakes and black pudding, i and chorizo spices fabulous taste and much of it, washed by some excellent coffee if I lived closer, my morning routine would change to include more regular visits."

"I've been in Beirut Star a few times and both the food and drink on each occasion has been sublime. The ingredients for both the food and drink are fresh, so the taste is excellent.
