I ordered from here for the first time today. Food was delivered quickly whilst still hot tasted fresh. The kids loved it too Delivery driver was very polite, he had a down south accent. Would highly recommend this chippy! View all feedback.
What rabguk doesn't like about Batter ‘n:
Ordered Saturday 4th April 2020. Delivery was an hour and food was below average. Fish did not taste good batter was overly greasy and the fish itself tasted dry. Think this was not freshly cooked and had been reheated. They do not put any salt and vinegar on top so was pretty much tasteless on arrival. Added salt and vinegary myself to add some taste to it. Absolutely rotten reheated chips fish is dry and don't let me start on the hamburger/battery
The place roch.of rancid oil and the chips were unbeatable
Ordered a few rolls n fritte from this chippy today. best roll n fritte I had in a long time support their local chippy during this difficult time :
Absolutely terrible. chips were cold and dry, steakpie oozing with fat, and pizza cracked teig was solid. will not be here!
I'm try fist time cod fish too much oil i don't like
