Had only one night to dine in Glasgow with my mother, both visiting from Canada and celebrating Mother's Day. I researched Cottiers and it sounded intriguing and we are so very pleased we went. The food was absolutely delicious and the venue delightful. I had the curry of the day which was Beef Curry and my mom the Lamb Ragout. Both superb! Highly recommend. read more.

"Amazing and varied homemade soups, scones and cakes, all on offer on a daily basis. Today I had Moroccan chicken soup with a treacle scone....strange mixture, I know, however, treacle scones are such a rarity these days and it was delicious. The cafe is now table service and staff are so friendly and engage with you when , first, they bring a bottle of water and glasses to your table. Love the sharing of tables, especially encouraged when it's busy.....which is most days over lunch period. When paying, consider a donation to allow a homeless person some nourishing food. Once visited, defy you not to revisit, it's so worth it."
