absolutely shocking order came 40 minutes late! when i called the restaurant the man had no clue what i was talking about when i was asking when my order would arrive he was so nasty and then when i called again he answered said yeah i know scoffable then hung the phone up on me when the food finally arrived half of my order was missing and what they did bring was swimming in GREASE! read more.

"Amazing and varied homemade soups, scones and cakes, all on offer on a daily basis. Today I had Moroccan chicken soup with a treacle scone....strange mixture, I know, however, treacle scones are such a rarity these days and it was delicious. The cafe is now table service and staff are so friendly and engage with you when , first, they bring a bottle of water and glasses to your table. Love the sharing of tables, especially encouraged when it's busy.....which is most days over lunch period. When paying, consider a donation to allow a homeless person some nourishing food. Once visited, defy you not to revisit, it's so worth it."

"What a sound! absolutely gorgeous little jewel of a caffe not far from the city center of glasgow. my friends and I had speck pancakes and black pudding, i and chorizo spices fabulous taste and much of it, washed by some excellent coffee if I lived closer, my morning routine would change to include more regular visits."

"I've been in Beirut Star a few times and both the food and drink on each occasion has been sublime. The ingredients for both the food and drink are fresh, so the taste is excellent.
