Ate in the Auldhouse Arms for the first time as it was bought by new management really impressed by the number of Gf dishes. The staff is pleased to explain which dishes were gf (although the menu is clearly marked). Had tempura with chicken fillet burger for the main only problem was lack of gf desserts. will definitely return read more.

"Amazing and varied homemade soups, scones and cakes, all on offer on a daily basis. Today I had Moroccan chicken soup with a treacle scone....strange mixture, I know, however, treacle scones are such a rarity these days and it was delicious. The cafe is now table service and staff are so friendly and engage with you when , first, they bring a bottle of water and glasses to your table. Love the sharing of tables, especially encouraged when it's busy.....which is most days over lunch period. When paying, consider a donation to allow a homeless person some nourishing food. Once visited, defy you not to revisit, it's so worth it."
