well, I was hungry and was picked with egusi suppe, although I ordered beautiful suppe (spinch). the waiter returned like 7mins later to tell me no sweet suppe so I had to choose from egusi, okro or ogbono suppe. in the suppe there was no meat, except maggi/cube-sized meat like 5 pieces. "Amazing and varied homemade soups, scones and cakes, all on offer on a daily basis. Today I had Moroccan chicken soup with a treacle scone....strange mixture, I know, however, treacle scones are such a rarity these days and it was delicious. The cafe is now table service and staff are so friendly and engage with you when , first, they bring a bottle of water and glasses to your table. Love the sharing of tables, especially encouraged when it's busy.....which is most days over lunch period. When paying, consider a donation to allow a homeless person some nourishing food. Once visited, defy you not to revisit, it's so worth it."
