We were a table of 7 and 2 of our orders were wrong. I had the fish and chips which really was not good, huge thick chips which would have been ok if they were cooked, fish placed on top !! of the chips and this was very greasy. Two meals had to be sent back as they were wrong. read more.

"Amazing and varied homemade soups, scones and cakes, all on offer on a daily basis. Today I had Moroccan chicken soup with a treacle scone....strange mixture, I know, however, treacle scones are such a rarity these days and it was delicious. The cafe is now table service and staff are so friendly and engage with you when , first, they bring a bottle of water and glasses to your table. Love the sharing of tables, especially encouraged when it's busy.....which is most days over lunch period. When paying, consider a donation to allow a homeless person some nourishing food. Once visited, defy you not to revisit, it's so worth it."
